Una revolución en la música gracias a la inteligencia artificial. Ahora Sir Paul McCartney logró hacer lo “imposible” al traer de vuelta a Ringo Starr junto a los fallecidos John Lennon (1980) y George Harrison (2001) en un nuevo tema inédito con extractos de voces en maquetas antiguas en cassettes.

¿Cómo sucedió esto?

El mismo Paul McCartney lo comentó previamente en el programa británico Best of Today de la BBC.

“Es algo muy interesante, es algo que todos estamos abordando en este momento y tratando de manejar”, dijo McCartney cuando se le preguntó sobre los avances tecnológicos que impulsaron el legado de The Beatles aproximadamente 60 años después de que el grupo alcanzara el éxito mundial.

Todo esto viene cuando Peter Jackson usó la IA para aislar la voz de John Lennon para una grabación en la serie documental de 2021 “Get Back” . “Todo eso da un poco de miedo, pero es emocionante porque es el futuro”.

​Paul McCartney luego se refirió a la creación de “lo que será el último disco de los Beatles”, que se lanzará en un futuro próximo.

“Era una maqueta que John tenía en la que trabajamos, y acabamos de terminarla, se lanzará este año. Pudimos tomar la voz de John y obtenerla pura a través de esta Inteligencia Artificial, para luego poder mezclar el disco como lo harías normalmente”

“Te da una especie de margen de maniobra, por lo que hay un lado bueno y luego un lado aterrador, y tendremos que ver a dónde lleva eso”.

La publicación será este año 2023, aunque sin fechas especificas.
